    Default Tire pressures

    Hi all,
Need a bit of help, I've been looking for the tire pressure for my SRi 3.0 V6 Diesel, I haven't got the owners hand book and I can't find a sticker with it on anywhere.

    Any help would be appreciated.

If its the same from 1.9 to 3.0.....

Mine are 33 front, 33 rear for 17's with 225/45 tyres. Might possibly be different on the V6 though, with the heavier engine...

Have you tried the Vx website. You can download the handbooks there. Mines a 1.8 so I'll be no help. Only other source of info is your tyre manufactures website or you could try the chart on this link http://www.iwt.co.uk/tyre_pressure.htm

You should be able to get the weight of your vechilce, on the side of the door.

35/38 is correct, and its identical to a GSI 3.2 - I have found in practice that these pressures make for a very hard ride on the roads where I live. Reducing this by 2psi all round seems to help a lot, on my Elite 3.0CDTI auto ! There seems to be a lack of consistency on the right numbers. My local dealer reset them to 36/36 on a service, and a tyre dealer told me 32/32 was right (way too soft in my opinion)

    Adam,

If you go onto the site and click on the owners tab and then click under my vauxhall. You need to reigster first but then you can download for free.

Super - will give that a go now. Saves me waiting for the dealer to chase it!
