Near side headlamp bulb

Iv recently been having trouble with it, in the past four months its blew 4 bulbs which i took it to vauxhal due to the warranty as i didnt think it was right cause the first time both bulbs went , but they have been replaced out of my pocket as was classed as wear an tear, it went again the other day so when i checked it myself the holder was melted so i took it into vauxhall and they cant do nothing for 2 weeks but the cars due in for an MOT a week ago (its first one) so the cars off the road till thats repaired i asked for a courtesy car as i need it for work i cant be without a car for 2 weeks, the fella on the desk told me they dont do courtesy cars to which i was amazed as its a main dealer he then gave me the number to vauxhall dealer 30 miles away and said theyd give me one i tried to ring the number he gave me and it werent even a number i went and asked someone else and he said why is he turning custom away and he said hel sort me a courtesy car out how useless are the technicians firstly they didnt spot what was wrong with the light four times or they just couldnt be bothered and secondly they dont even know that they do courtesy cars still might not get one for a couple of days though

It was "repaired" in Liverpool everytime and i took it to the one in merthyr southern vauxhall and thier the ones who didnt know that they had courtesy cars so its not just one dealer if they try and give me a corsa can i turn it down cause i need a big car ?

I bought it from the merthyr one aswell, it was the fella who sold it to me who sorted it out so hes going to give me a ring tomorrow i got an excellent service from him when i bought it and looks like im getting one again but as for the others i think its pathetic

not got any decent ones of it... im quite **** with the camera haha will get some though and post them up so you can see its onyl an LS its me first car so i didnt want the insurance to be to dear! I have put ellite lights on it though and clear indicators :P

Agree about the dealers though. Seems to be pot luck if you get a good one.

You have no idea how incompetant vauxhall garages are, expecially Reg Vardy up in Scotland. My car has been back to them 6 times since MAY. 3 times for the same thing. Check Safeguard was coming up on the main LCD, its about the first thing thats happening when you turn it on. 3 times they never sorted that!!

Dig you heels in Hannah and get them told!!!! Or take it to another Garage like I did, first visit fixed and got a report back on my car unlike the other garage.

Same here 4 times now iv taken mine in for the same thing its not like its not noticable you have to see it to put the bulb in so they were ovbiously just avoiding it.

Probably cause the warrenty was nearly up, but iv got another 6 months which i got when i got the car
