    Default TECH 2 Anyone?

    Hi,

Speaking to her uncle again (Vauxhall man) when I fit my K&N Cone filter its sounds the nuts but when the engine is warm it starts pinking. I have tried the battery off etc route but no joy.

He mentioned if I fit the K&N and hook it to the TECH2 the TECH2 will reset the values and it will learn the new values on the way home and reprogram itself.

He has access to a TECH2 but have any of you guys based near Cheshire have access to one as he is not working for 3 weeks

Disconnect the battery for 15-20 mins, it does the same thing. Also too much heat is sucked up by the K&N cone type, the best bet is to go for a K&N panel filter in de-restricted air box HTH.

I've just bought the K&N panel filter and am going to do the mod this weekend. Question is, do I have to disconnect the battery to see the results?

How do I disconnect the battery?

Should I just disconnect one terminal, or both?

    Ignition keys in or out?

    Thanks
