    Default A different world

Just designing an extension to a Newcastle United football Players house and it makes me sick. The house isnt a pretty thing to look at being 60's design and is only 5 bedroom but he has an indoor swimming pool, a Sauna, huge conservatory, A games room with full size snooker table and full on Bar, A 27ft x18ft lounge with massive inglenook fireplace and the best bit.... a room called 'Home cinema'..... imagine that... a room just for your home cinema system lmao.....its a different world.

It's a very different world mate you are right. I've recently sold and installed a Home Entertainment / PC system into the house of a colleague of my Dads.

He lives in Uppermill (on the pennines) in an old farm house. 3 floors, 5 Bedrooms, study, games room, stables for his wifes two horses, the usual. He'd had it all professionally restored. The walls were about 3 foot thick. Absolutely beautiful.

He didn't even try and haggle on the price of the system. I'm sure if I'd have added a couple of hundred quid on top he'd have still said OK.
