Default wheel spacers ? should i fit them?

*** above thinking of giving my rims a slightly meaner stance and thought about adding spacers to the hubs to bring the rims further out, is this a pants idea or is it a good one? not heard of anyone else doing this so just wondering

depends how big the spacers are.. if you go to far, the hub centering part for the alloy wont do its job .. so youll need hubcentric spacers £££££

I disagree. Alot of the abroad member's have done this and they have not mentioned any problems. I spose it depends on how far you go with the spacers ? but on the rears only it would look alot better.

OR we could just buy wider tyres

Pogo..if you do fit spacers..make sure you also buy longer wheel bolts, as putting spacers on will mean that the current VX bolts will only be in a few turns....as found out by one of our apprentices who lost a wheel on the M1....every MM of spacer is a mm less of bolt thread on that wheelhub..
