how can i get the radio code for my vectra c

it depends on what unit you've got..

later CD30 and above units don't use an 'owner inputted' code..

for earlier units, just look on your 'car pass' that came with the car, or contact VX who will give you the code for around £15..

If you haven't got a Car Pass with your car (bit of card with all the codes on it) then you can get one from the dealers - they charge about £15 I think. If they didn't supply one with the car (if it came from a dealer) then get them to get you one FOC.

the newer units are coded via TECH2, not by the user..

thanks guys for input

i brought my vec from a salvage site so i had no papers at all. the radio comes up with SAFE on it. the vec is a dti on a 04 plate if that is any help. ALL PARTS ARE IN SPRAY BOTH NOW. HOPEING to get all done for next sunday cheer for the help

04 will be user coded...what you need to do is take down the logbook to VX and apply for a carpass from them..they'll send off for it, and that'll list the code for the radio the car was supplied with.. if it's a different headunit then they can give you the code from the radio's serial number.
