    Guys and gals

I've stumbled across a very interesting website.

    http://www.chauffeurplan.co.uk/client/cp_home_frm.html

Basically it's an insurance policy against your licence. They will pay out a good amount of money to cover you getting taxi's or even employing a driver in the event you are banned. Take a look anyway.

I spoke with a guy there yesterday and am signing up myself as I am in the fairly typical position of no licence = no job = no tasty vectra!

I can't live without my car. So if I was banned...........

Well, let's just say, that most car nuts would still drive if they were issued with a ban.

I'm not saying that I would, but I would have to get my driving fix somewhere. Do you need a current license to go Banger Racing?

Alex, i think you need your driving license for a lot of motorsports.

If i got banned... id buy an old restoration project like a mk1 astra GTE or a chevette HS or Manta and spend a year building a nice show/track car.

Could be worth thinking about then guys, I'm signing up for it. For £300 a week you could employ someone to drive you around in your own car! Only takes one of those "moments" that we all get the urge for, copper on a bridge and thats it game over! I was banned before and it was agony!

He also has to deal with the consequences of poor driving. I certainly wouldn't like to knock on someones door to tell them their son or daughter has died. Or be able to hold myself back from some chav who's just knocked over a child.
