    Default Those bl**dy stealers...

Got home last night from work and as I parked up the next door neighbour who also has a Vectra (thankfully her's is black!!!), was frantically trying to close the driver side rear door. As I came out she asked if I could help.... when I took a look the lock catch wouldn’t move and so the car door couldn’t close. So I though take a look at the manual..... Took a look and realised that all I needed to do was to insert the key into a red "screw" underneath the catch and turn it anti-clockwise.....

In the meantime she also managed to do the same thing to the front driver’s door!!!!!!! To which there is no red screw to "re-set".... after much tinkering.... I rang the local dealer.... I told them the exact problem to which they informed me that I'd need to "book her in and the whole panel would have to come off!!!

Well I thought no way.... so after a little scratching of the head.... I just opened the handle while at the same time lifting the catch... and hey presto it worked...... talk about money grabbing bas*****......

Isn't the red "screw" on the rear doors actually the childlock?
