Angry What should I go for?

Bit of a long story this one, so apologies!

Bought an 02 3.2V6 a few weeks ago, only 20k miles and top spec . Noticed the engine warning light on the day after I picked it up, so took it to my local VX dealer (car was purchased from a dealer 100 miles away). It turned out to be the o2 sensor, no problem I thought as it was fixed under warranty. More worrying was the fact the technicians noticed that the car wasnt sitting correctly. On further inspection they found this was due to a broken front spring (held together by a plastic sleeve) . They also found a load of error codes and had to replace the Engine Managent Computer.

I wrote to the supplying dealer with my complaints, as it was supposed to have been checked as a Network Q car.

The dealer has been very apologetic, as they should be having let me drive away an unsafe car!

They want to 'rectify' the situation. What do you think I should go for? Extended warranty? Free services?

Never been in this situation before so dont know what to push for!

    advice needed!!

    thanks.

    Both!!!!

Seriously though, Reckon the warranty will be more beneficial in the long run.

Was this Approach by any chance? Normally a good reputation?

Warranty all the way. Forget free services etc. The Warranty is the thing that will be most useful. just make sure they give youa decent warranty and not one of their fob off freebies.

I'd ask for a replacement, hell knows what's been done to yours in the past, obviously owned by someone wallet shy.

But if that's not an option, look below at what Duncan has said, makes good sense.

Deffo a warranty. Get them to sort you out with a two year Network Q warranty - over £800 if you bought it yourself!
