    Post Twin tail pipes

I've sent an email to 888 regarding the rear diffuser Spoons posted up. While I wait for a reply...

If I had to change to twin tails for my 120 CDTi Sri...What am I looking for and how much? Our and what effect is there on the engine.

    Ta

Yes you can, the 120 centre section should be the same diameter as the 150. The 2.2 right hand box retails at £171 + VAT, and the irmscher Y section is about £120.

So you will need the right hand silencer from a Vectra SRi 2.2 direct petrol, and the Irmscher Y section. Then all you need is about 1/2 hour to fit it all.

Heres a few pics of when I did mine.

Both my old 04 reg silver lightning SRi and the new one ready for the conversion.

Items are, right hand 2.2 direct silencer, my original left hand silencer and the irmscher Y section, this is deisgned for the diesel and is a direct fit once the original bend has been cut off.

    All bits removed

    Fitting back together

    All completed

Is there any differance between the rear silencers as one is for a petrol car. or is it just the shape of the box??
