Default Soon to be EX Vectra driver

Sorry everyone but I have defected the the " Dark Side".

Resigned from my current company and they want my 56 150 SRI CDTI back.

Looked at the new car list from new company and they say I can have an X-Type.

So It's Jaguar for me now.

    Bigal.

Such is the joy of company cars... they're all but free to drive, but they're not 'forever'. I miss my vec so much!!! Good luck with the new job though

Edit: I spent 7 hours in an x-type last week and have to say... it wasn't comfy...!

I spent 5 hours in an X-Type a little while ago and it was cramped.. sorry.

My shoulder kept touching the door pillar , its a lot smaller inside than you think.

    Vectra for me....

The best thing about the new job is that it's only 30 miles away - compared to the daily trek from Tamworth to Milton Keynes. It's so close I could go to work on one of my bikes and still arrive fresh and ready for a days hard slog.
All contry lanes as well. Perhaps I should have ordered a V6 Elite now after all.

I was a passenger in the jag, in the back for first leg of journey and then sat in the front on the way back for more comfort. There was no neck support at all, no arm support, and my legs ached when i got out - something which I never got in the vectra and I used to do mega miles.

But hey everyone is different, hopefully it'll be great for you!

When looking for my current car I looked at the X-Type. As soon as I sat in the drivers seat I went off it. The cabin is tiny. No leg room and felt very uncomfortable.

Saw the Vetra and those lovely dual exhaust pipes and that was it!!

I like the X-Type myself, but as the guy's say, for a Jag, it isn't that big inside, anyway enjoy the new status in your X-Typedeo
