Yes is the answer to that. You will find once polished the wheels are easier to clean. A bit like conditioning your hair.
Yup, same here. When i first get a car i take the wheels off (weather permitting) and give them a good clean and wax. Makes keeping them clean a lot easier
Waxed mine last week, brake dust just wipes off now!
So whats a good wax to use? Some stuff from Halfrauds, or from somewhere more specialised?
I just use Auto Glym Super Resin polish and on the car.Never had any problems.
I think it does help. It will not prevent brake dust , but if you put a good wheel wax on then the dust will not stick and will wash off a lot easier, I wax my wheels regularly and the dust comes off very easy.
yet more great tips i can use, so off to the shop's tommorrow to get wheel wax
I use Wheel Guard, think its Megs, well actually i used cabby's wheel guard lol.. Wax them up and then it takes just a little squirt of Hot RIms when washing and the dust just falls off
