VXR First Service 18000

Just had the car back after it's first service.

**New Tie Rods and rear trailing arm bushes fitted under warranty. Not a good sign after 12 months.

Be warned that the first service doesn't include any filters (Air, Pollen or Fuel) just the oil and filter is changed.

However the dealers paperwork returned to me did impress me...lots of check lists with dirty finger prints...a good sign in my book.

Oh and it was £150....who said VXR's are expensive to run?

Thats a good price for a service....a lot cheaper than a 3.0 V6!
Also, my fuel filter was changed at my first service. Not sure if its different for diesels......

just bought mine with 12,000 miles and 1 year old diesel had a service and no fuel filter changed not due another service untill 32'000 miles! I think i'll need to change the fuel and air filters before then!!!

Here's what they did on mine. Oil and fuel filter I assume....

£150 isn`t bad at all !! I got a service thrown in when I bought mine, well more like squeezed it out of them, didn`t realise it was so cheap though .. Pre 23 March 06 VXR ownership just gets better and better *lol*
