Thread: attention all 2.0/2.2Dti owners!!!

    Default attention all 2.0/2.2Dti owners!!!

    right had a guy on the phone last night,he runs his own dianostic/ecu repair and ecu remapping company, mentioned to him about my vectra and no-one being able to remap her with the hybrid ecu

    he said he cant read the ecu but her can write it.....so cut the long story short he said to bring her up and he would try to re-write the ecu if it wouldn't remap ok he says he just takes it out and sends it to somewhere in england and i'd get it back 3days later remapping my 2.0dti to 130bhp all for £250

    but im still afraid to go to what seem such drastic measures especially when no-one has done it before

    so let me know what ya's think

    so im being used as a ginny pig?????? my best option would be to get a spare ecu and have it programmed to my car but thats big bucks for the ecu

    IIRC, all ecu mapping was done by removing the car brain at one point ..

    so mapping via the diag port seems to be the issue, but its not much more work in reality ..

    its problem is that these guys local to us all can't read the map on the ecu but they can write it though

    Angry 2.0 dti

    you tell me know lad,i bought a 150 cdti today and traded the 2.0 dti lady in cause it could not be done and it broke my heart doing it
