When I was checking for oil leakage...
After my 75,000km service, I checked this morning for any oil leakage as I had a oil leaking problem when Holden didn't do a proper job fitting the oil filter.
Anyhow, I realised that something looked different... I may be just imagining, but don't Vectra C have some kind of belly pan underneath to protect where the engine and the gearbox is? or am I just getting this feeling since I can never trust the ****** dealers.......
my diesel has a belly pan dude,

Yep, should have a full plastic undertray, or mine has at least.

Guess what everyone.. apparently when vectras are imported to Aus, they removed "some unnecessary" parts to reduce the cost........... and undertray is one of them........
I didn't believe what the dealer said, so had a peak at another veccy ... and cr*p... it really was true....
So.. for any aussie blokes who assumed that veccys come with an undertray... and realised that it was missing....... ... well.... we never had one to start with...

My vectra doesn't have one, I wonder if they had them on the 1.8 ? It was a year old when I bought it and not yet had it's first service (which is mostly likely the time it would be removed and not put back ! )
My 2.2 petrol does not have one. IIRC only diesels have them for noise reduction purposes.
My 2.2 Direct has one!!
