Suspension upgrades?
So, after having to let my beautiful Vectra C go five years ago, I've finally found another one!
It's in startlingly good condition and has apparently NEVER failed an MOT!!?!
However, after a quick check at my mechanics, it appears to have non original shocks on the front and one of them may be a little bent (it's causing the spring to rub), so if I'm going to change springs and dampers, I may as well look at upgrades.
So the question is: Knowing that the Vectra is notorious for breaking its springs, are there spring/damper upgrades and does anyone have suggestions for what exactly I should get?

Bilstein b6/8/12 or ids+ but taking into consideration the refurbished ids from poland now costs more than the bilstein… on the spring side i switched to h&r and they suite the car very well with just a little more drop compared to the oem lowered sport chasis, about 2cm extra.

Not a Vectra but when i had my Signum i had B6's with Eibach lowering springs and was spot on with ride height and handling.

I'd have answered this quicker, but I'm having trouble getting logged in each visit...
Is it just me, or do ALL compatible springs for the Vectra look like they should be on a bicycle???
I've got thicker springs on my 3 motorbikes...
I'm starting to see why Vectras go through springs so readily.
Is there no alternatives out there that give slightly heavier springs?
