Hi,just this morning during school run i went to open my drvers door but had the central locking engaged as my son was in car too,anyways i forgot to undo the locking via door button and pilled the door lever,it happens sometimes....so undone that then the lever never opened the door,it felt very loose and no clicking could be heard,got home and had a good look testing the door opened and closed,no clicking or engaging from the interior door latch.
I ubdid the 5 torx screws and prised the card off,everything to do with the cable and retaining clip were attached and moving....im unsure of what the next step/idea solution would be to diagnose this issue,any suggestions or ideas to check for would be appreciated,
Till then i'll just have yo wind window down and ropen door from outside lever
