    Default almost dead instrument panel

Today my 55 plate Vectra C 1.8 dash was almost completely dead.
the only light that came on was the engine light on the far right.

no clocks no mileage, no lights, not even the handbrake light.

I have been having issues with the the clocks suddenly going off for a while but have always had the handbrake and the mileage.

fuses seem ok anyone had this issue?

Hi Steve,I had something like this 2 months ago, all was fine when I got to work, went to go home speedo, tacho, fuel gauge etc not working, tried turning ignition off then on about 4 times, gave up and used phone for speed. It turned out to be fuse number 17 in passenger fuse box, fuse looked OK, and was not blown, changed it and hey presto, it all started to work, only annoying bit was the Computer reset, so I lost how many miles had done since owing car.Hope that helps.why is the carriage return not showing in my post

That sounds frustrating, Steve. Mike’s tip about fuse 17 is a good shout. It's amazing how a fuse that looks fine can still be the culprit. Worth swapping it out just to rule it out. Hopefully it’s a quick fix and not something deeper like a dodgy CIM or cluster. Keep us posted!
