Rear wiper not parking

Hello all - if you are still out there.

OK - have so far proved I have no constant live at the motor plug. Swapped the REC. Tried another wiper motor anyway. Swapped the CIM back to another. Swapped relays in UEC.

To bear in mind with this, I have still got the imtermittent fail of power steering on start. To that end the UEC, ECU and SIM were previously swapped out.

Could it be the BCM - about the only thing still left in the canbus apart from the door modules !

OK - embarrased but fixed. Having con checked the wires, it turned out there was a break in the usual 'pivot point' where the loom goes into the tailgate ( it must have been lightly touching when I checked it ) What I should have done is measured the resistance, not just gone on a needle swing AND I should have ignored the other issues.

However I've now done over 100 miles after I changed the REC and the two CANBUS errors i've had for a looong while are not there. So maybe I didn't waste the £25 I spent on that !
