Another month has passed and there are no dash board lights, no issues, and no mechanic visit. Still kicking! I do like the power of the Z30DT -- while the car itself is quite heavy this motor has plenty of torque and it can certainly pull this car around. I can say as an aside. My only concern at the moment is that I should probably check the bushing, (literally all of them), and the motor mounts and transmission mounts. Feel like the car feels a little unsettled sometimes, it's a very very minor feeling; I can barely feel it but I suspect a lot of rubber parts are worn. KNOCK ON WOOD!

I spoke too soon. The car is sick again... With the following symptoms.
·The car is jerking very roughly and violently.
·It feels like it’s about to break down or stall at any moment.
·I heard a sharp screeching noise.
·The RPM surges randomly, sometimes revving up to 4,000 RPM without my foot on the gas. Other times, pressing the accelerator does nothing, and the car loses power completely.
·On the highway, the transmission shifts extremely harshly, almost like it’s slamming into gears.
·At one point, I heard a loud "crunch" noise while accelerating.
·While idling or at low speeds, the engine fluctuates in RPM, almost like it is "breathing" up and down.
·There is no permanent check engine light, but the service wrench light appears temporarily or randomly when the issue happens.
I’m not sure if this is a fuel issue, a sensor problem, or something transmission-related

Sad, sad news. All 6 injectors are bad. They were tested on the bench by diesel specialists, and they found that all 6 of the injectors fail to perform within nominal range. Repairing all 6 will cost me a quoted 702000 Hungarian Forints, nearly 1800 Euros, and there is no guarantee that the car will perform flawlessly. With this news from the mechanic, I am calling it quits here. I will stick around the forum and the FB page, but my Vectra... My Vectra will be on the way out.

That really is sad, the price for fixing the injectors to me it seems to be on the very expensive side, maybe buy a set from junkyards?

The funny part is that this quote was the cheaper quote! The first shop I went was charging 383000 forint just check the injectors on the bench. And they said if any are broken the replacement would be 159000 forint per injector (per piece), I was looking at potentially 939 Euros just to check them and then 2340 Euros to replace all 6 injectors. These numbers are laughable, and obviously not worth it. At least not worth it to me.
