insignia air con control fault

short story. We are in France and decided to hop over to Belgium. On leaving a parking area , i managed to hit a kerb they had put in the road, not visible from inside the car when looking left for traffic.
I hit the kerb with right wheel, blew the air out but does not seem like the tyre is split. but, when i touch the air con controls, Im now getting a message to say there is a communication error. tells me it might clear or turning ignition off and on may clear. but so far it hasn't.
any ideas what i might have damaged? now have to drive the rest of the week on the space saver.

air con is still working but sometimes a bit slow to operate or comes on and off,
