    Default Handbrake won't go to service position

    Anyone had this / how did you solve it. Can't move the rod to the rear. Stuck solid

    In the past it's moved using a hammer handle, then lock with the clip at the rear ( haynes say 'using a suitable tool ' ) Now totally immobile

    I take it you have the lever off and you've pushed the fixing down then tried the piston at the same time

    Tried that, lube, clamps, impact.......... took the spring off and clouted it. Nada. Trouble is now I cant connect it to the cable again as I need that extra inch or two

    Always the way get over one problem to create another it's a time where another pair of hands are required.
