K&N now fitted....

....... i thought my 1.9 cdti was bl00dy quick anyway with the tuning box...however after installing the K&N air filter, plus doing the air box mod - the car feels so much more responsive!!

Not exactly an earth shattering difference but so much smooth at lower revs and when you give it a boot it just goes now!!

Had a race (memories of my impreza days) with a honda civic type R (02 reg) last week - and managed to keep just the 2 car lengths apart same as when we started!! (i am hoping he was flat out too, but not sure!!

)

anyway not saying racing is big or clever but what i am saying is the K&N is pukka!!!

so K&N, not the courtenay branded foam one .. what made you decide that?

and which box do you have

was gonna take a punt with courtney by nutron on here tried them both and said the K&N was noticably MUCH better - so for an extra £6 i went for the K&N - well pleased with it.

Got the cateram2 box i seem to recall !!

i found k&n better just think about a hight flow cat that makes alot of diffence

Glad you are pleased with the K&N. Did you reset your ECU after fitting?

Just done the above me and the wife have said it pulls much better from 3rd up the gears thanks for the tip M&S
