    Default Wet rear right floor

    Hi All,

I have a problem with my 2004 Vauxhall Signum. There is water ingress at the rear left side (edited) footwell from somewhere. There is no water anywhere else. Once the drain in front of the cabin filter got blocked but on that occasion the front carpet was also soaking wet. Touching around the edges of carpet seems like the door side "wall" is wet, so probably coming from somewhere there. I checked the drain holes on the bottom of the rear door, pushed a stick in, moved it around but there was no sudden gush of water. I suppose it is draining off the door without issues. Somewhere read about aerial seal but the roof lining is not wet. There is no sign of water in the boot. Spare wheel dry. Used to have a Golf IV and a Leon, both were leaking through the door panels, had to re-seal all the door. Can this also be a problem with the Signum? Never heard of it. Thanks in advance!

Aerial gasket, roof rails are the common failures.

Thank you! Aerial gasket: would the roof not be wet as well then?

Roof rails: where would the water come in? In-between the front and rear doors behind the plastic panels? Thanks!!

The gasket it will make roof damp but you wouldn't really know untill you dropped it. The rails are riveted on and have seen others complaining off leaks turned out to be that.
