Z18XER heater hose flow direction

Hi all,

Would anybody know which hose is the inlet and which hose is the outlet as you look at them from under the bonnet? I’m trying to sort out what seems like a pig of an airlock on my VVT.

inlet hose is on the right hand side

Squeeze those two hoses going to the heater matrix once up to temperature - you'll hear the air clearing. Been running 2 XERs for 15 years - always works for me

Both header tank & it's cap (lots of poor quality pattern parts about), are suspect as well - can cause all sorts of Coolant problems, along with the throttle body heater pipe.
