    Default Bad news

Call from the guys doing my wheel refurb, 1 of the wheels has a crack in the inner rim !
I have pictures but won’t upload for some reason.
Has been sent away for welding and machining and increased the bill by £70.
I guess 1 out of 4 ain’t bad, the others are perfect, no dints or flat spots.

I’m told should be all ready to collect on Monday, wheel has been repaired and the full set are now in primer ready for paint and clear coat.

Car is now back at ‘FIL towers’ having been collected from the wheel refurbers.
The new Michelin pilot sport 4S tyres have totally transformed the handling.
So much more responsive, I’m 100% happy.
Pics to follow when I’ve cleaned the car so probably the weekend.

    Quick question …

Need some grey plastic covers for the VX locking wheel bolts.
Do the Insignia ones fit ?

Can’t find any for the Vec

Just found out the answer … no they don’t. Insignia is 28mm internal diameter, Vectra is around 25mm

Didn’t think they did covers for the locking nut, I just replaced them with the normal bolts as there a right pain to remove when knackered.
