If it was that, than the alarm would sound without any obvious reaso, once the car is locked and left, until it dies (read battery completely flat, and that can take about 3 days for the alarm to do that)
It would also have another code pointing to the power being low.
Just makes me wonder as this all started a couple of months ago where for no reason over a week I had to manually lock.my car as the alarm would go off if locked with the fob.
Chris
Did you remove a sticker from the rear windshield or wimdowtint?
No original vauxhall sticker is on there and the 2 rear passenger windows are tinted but I presumed that was standard.
Chris
no that isn't standard... check the rear demister is working if it isn't check the lines for breaks/damage as that also breaks the circuit for the rear sensor... the lines can be broken quite easily if some has scrapped them that is hard enough... you'll find that parts of the lines are see through. if the rear demister works than 9 out of 10 times it's just the sensor wire that is broken and you'll have to remove the trim to repair it.
Rear demister works fine, middle line is a bit slow but does demist.
Chris
in that case you'll have to remove the trim to check the wire to the sensor.
