Hi ppl. It's that annoying person again lol. My advice I need is to get gearbox in neutral to replace the gearbox selector that fits into gearbox. Any advice on how to get neutral so I can finally get car moving. Vauxhall insignia hatchback mk1 2009 1.8 m32 gearbox 6 speed

have a look in the topics below before you continue to do anything and mess it up.

right so have you removed the gear linkages already? Is the gearbox still in place ( connected up to the engine etc etc etc) ?
A picture or 2 of the current situation will be easier than answering these questions...
but if the lot is still connected, you just push the clutch down and pull the car out of the gear it is in...
if you have disconnected the gear linkages from the gearbox.. well you can just move both those levers they both can be moved without using the clutch you'll soon find the car being in neutral, jack the car up both front wheels in the air so you can turn a wheel to find that when it's in neutral you can just turn them without any resistance.
