i have just debadged my ls 2003 and i want to get some alloys for it but a mate said that 18 inch tyres are expencive so do just get 17s or say sod it and go for 18s ?

18 are expensive and 17 & 19 are cheaper so you have more than the 2 options m8,

as far as iknow m8 they go straight on with no rubbing or anything, peeps on here have them and some-one has 20''s on his signum

can i still lower the car on 18s by 40 mm or would that cause probs

dont think this will cause you any probs either m8, have a look around i'm sure plenty of peeps done this too, not me though i'm affraid as 3 kids mean's we need a comfortable ride gona get some wheels sorted though as soon as the missus decides on the style we both like

if she is loaded get some 19'' snowflakes from andyvec pm him for a price but expect to pay about a bag of sand
