Default Cleaned the patio with my new toy

Bought a Power Craft (made by Karcher) 130 bar pressure washer of e-bay which came with normal lance and a ‘Dirt Blaster’

I’ve cleaned the drive before using the normal lance and it took bl@@dy ages, the Dirt Blaster made the task much easier/quicker.

It focuses the jet into a cone which really cuts through the dirt.

If cleaning the patio or drive is on your list of to-dos’ this summer I would defo recommend getting a “dirt blaster” (see pic). They are over £30 in places like B & Q but you can get one on e-bay for around a £10. I think there are diferent types depending on whether your washer is lower or higher than 130 bar.

Yep, those Dirtblasters are brilliant for cleaning drives/patios (just don't catch the gap between block paving etc. or you get a faceful of cr*p shooting back in your face! lol). The Karcher nozzle I have allows you to select four different settings (high pressure, low pressure, pencil jet and DirtBlaster) so don't even need to change attachments.

Sounds like a go faster unit you have Duncan.

Defo agree with the comment about getting covered in cr@p - put on an old set of sailing (not sure what to call them but dungarees springs to mind) trousers and protective glasses.

Had to get the wife to hose me down at the end

Roger that Neil, thought I would take some moss of the side of the shed - did that but the stain came off as well
