Had to take the valve cover off because one corner was leaky. While i was there i rethreaded 3 holes just to be sure. So far so good, nothing is leaking.

And that's still leaking, replaced the gasket, same story. Now i am thinking of using rtv on top of the gasket but i am not sure that will fix it... the surface is not dinged or anything, maybe the valve cover is out of shape but i doubt.
Also found a "small" brake booster vacuum leak.
PS: a valve cover bolt has fallen into the engine bay, it's a gonner and of course it's out of production and i can't buy a new one nor junkyard

Took off the valve cover again because it was leaking oil way too much and changed the sequence pattern of tightening. Found the lost screw, in the turbo area so i guess that's at least one good sign because the screws are out of production and can't be found.
This might be a bad sign, i doubt the valve cover is that warped from the factory... worst case scenario, gasket delete and rtv like a fing redneck...

You are checking it on a wooden table...wood is known to warp under temperature... so grab yourself a water level to check if it's actually warped or not.
Nothing it's warped except for the cover, checked the table with the leveler, straight as hell, no bends in it. Let's just say that when i did the timing kit the vale cover bolts creaked when i unbulted them, "torqued to spec" according to monkeys, that 9 Nm is like nothing, you don't have to go bananas on that
Meanwhile signumareasa helped us to move from the flat we used to own. Good gal, lots of space but nothing compared to astra caravan
PS: a wheel cap went flying to oblivion, nowhere to be found; also ordered a PCV valve from poland since it's out of production. Cheapest set by far, only 60 euros(shipping included) for 2 gaskets and once pcv. The valve cover stopped leaking after lots of fiddling and a new bolt pattern combined with only 6Nm instead of 9
