Replaced coolant expansion tank cap with a AC DELCO GM OEM one, went down 5 PSI since the stock one is rated at 20 PSI.

Today was a good day. Had the car washed, vacuumed the car myself, replaced brake oil but i will replace it again at some point, rethreaded 2 bolts for the battery support, cleaned some rust on the rear fender, replaced passenger door check link with a GM one and as a bonus found rust on the tailgate but i was expecting that to happen since the rust inhibotor i used was crap (now i have something that is like 10x more expensive) and the sponge is perished so i used something **** just to postpone it till i have better weather to deal with it better. I will never get away from those rusty spots but at least if i can prolong the life before replacing pannels i am happy.

Bought myself some stuffs, done some stuffs, blower fan started to make noise, apparently can't be repaired and a new one valeo is almost 150 euros, maybe i'll buy a cheaper china (tyc) at some point when it will fail completely or the noise won't be covered by audio anymore.
    1. replaced rear door clips after the glueing operation since almost all of them broke due to age(china a few bucks for 50 pieces)
    2. bought a new intake hose, doesn't fit because the plastic neck thingie piece on the intercooler it's almost the same as the saab, "same same but different" so now i have to engineer a coupling and whatnot
    3. 1500 km drive to our smaller opel club annual meeting
    4. car behaved wonderfull, don't ask about fuel consumption because it's 10-12% , no wife, full speed, the car saw many rev limiter, lots of bends just me alone tire squeels, drive it like you stole it or go home
    5. bought tire valve caps, just a gimmick but i kinda like it

Fixed my blower air recirculation sprocket. I have disabled it(unplugged) last year as i didn't want to fix it(having bad experience with the astra fix) untill i found a supposedly fix with 3d printed sprockets. Here it is in all it's "majesty". Now i have recirculation wich i am gonna use it like 3 times a year and that's all.

Found the poor signumareasa hit in the car park, HEAVY. When using the tailgate wash it squirts a lot of fluid at the front bumper, so i suppose more things to fix
Altho it's almost june the weather felt like march. Thank you UK for sending the nasty weather to romania.
Today(dare i say 2 days actually) i finally replaced the sway bar bushings. Ye, exactly, 2 darn bushes. The catch: i have the beefy bar with the bushing that's in 2 parts wich you don't need to unbolt anything on the subframe if you have tiny hands and know how to curse a lot. Pain in the as* that 2 shops didn't mention the bushings should be replaced when i did the clutch because why would they? Isn't it better to just visit them again next year to take off the subframe and replace them? Fing monkeys.
And i repeat, i didn't unbolt the subframe, didn't even look at the bolts.
One bushing was so damaged that i removed it in like 2 minutes, the other one took a bit more persuasion, like 2 hours hammering a screwdriver and prying the bushing out of it's clips. The replacement is even worse.
Advice: if u do the clutch just swap those bushings aswell with something on the expensive side, i chose meyle because couldn't find the OEM one on stock at that time but i don't expect them to survive more than 1-2 years since our roads are trash. And also replace the sway bars in the same time since you are there, not like me that i forgot to order them and i found out that one boot is ripped and the grease is coming but i will have them replace soon since they aren't that big of a jump, wheel off, 2 bolts. And replace them etorx screws with normal M8 screws because you can fit a 13mm spanner on the headbolt...
PS: and yes, the swaybars nut were overtightened aswell because i needed my breaker bar to get them off, thank you monkeys, hope you will have diarheea every single day for the rest of your life...

Today had the MOT going on. Everything is rock solid for road safety. My front wishbone bushings should be replaced but i will replace both of the arms because they are already old, like half my age old, they are the OEM ones since 2007. The pollutants came out to be euro 6 passable from what the technician said. Braking wise it almost flew of the stand wich was a bit funny since not even the technician expected it, especially after refusing to give a gipsy a pass with no brake on one of the wheel, yes, a vw sharan with ZERO ( 0 )
PS: the numbers are on the pics, giggle giggle, smiles shy at the signum as it won't be driven this summer since i have my driver licence suspended for 2-3-4 months.

Really nice. I'm thinking of replacing the rubber vacuum hoses (and the coolant tee) too, the original ones are getting old...

Yep, going silicone is a must have, more durable than the rubber ones and you can route them much easier.
The coolant tee i would repalce asap because of the plastic tee wich you never know when it's gonna fail, or you can buy the aluminium tee and keep the rubber hoses wich isn't such a bad idea either.
