    Smile I bought a blower

    That's right, we're a gardening site now!

I got an electric leaf blower following the advice of someone...

I'm going to take the car to the rolling road at the next available opertunaty and see if pointing a blower down the intake gives me any more umph.

Is there any point in spending more on it? Your getting a new car in a few weeks
And besides what does that prove? If it does give you more bhp, you cant go driving around with a leaf blower strapped to the front

Point one, do you honnestly think my new car is going to stay un-modified? Point two, it is quite small and I recon I could mount it nicely out of sight. Then with some ducting and a switch! On power, off power, on power, off power.

Errrr .... no! But be careful as it'll effect the warrantee if you mess with it too much.

I think it may have effected the warrenty on the old one too, don't you?

I'm going to try it on the old one using a foam filter, I think there is less chance of that ripping.

Why void your warranty? Are you happy to cough up yourself if your turbo packs up, or the fuel pump? Could unnecessarily cost you a tidy packet.

Well my old car is now a write off so I don't think the warrenty will be an issue and I doubt they could prove I used a blower on it, as I would leave no evidence?

It's alright, I'm not planning on attacking your's... unless you want me too?

A little CO2 spray, a leave blower here, a charge cooler there?
