Led rear light conversion

Probably been gone over before but what’s needed to swap over rear units to led.

a **** ton of money and get them pre made or diy and sit there for hours on end putting in resistors, leds, etc etc etc plus you'll have to cut open the rear of the housing to get access to install the led lights.. or you get aftermarket bulbs and add a resistor to the bulbs... now FYI if you change the lot to LED yourself they might be deemed illegal as the housing has to state the type approval code for LED lights... and yes the MOT has become a pita.

that said i have yet to see them failing the car because of the rear light clusters being LED without the code... i know they will fail the headlights when fitted with aftermarket upgrade LED bulbs, as it happened to me last year.

Not for me I wouldn’t be bothered and prefer normal. Ok mole starting in, but for a friend in France.

Mate you can go on a day trip to any of these European countries and buy them off the shelf. I know Germany has them in almost every car tuning shop and so do Belgium and the Netherlands.
