Z30DT problem- No acceleration

Hello! I have a problem with my 3.0cdti automatic, 2006 Signum. After driving for a few minutes and getting the engine hot, at a complete stop or when slowing down at a intersection, the car does not want to accelerate. I have to either turn off engine for a few seconds and restart or to keep the foot on acceleration for a few seconds to go over 2500 rpm and after that will run again. It takes 5-8 seconds to accelerate to 2500rpm under that condition and the engine makes a strange noise, like stuttering.. Also i noticed that the coolant temp goes to 95-97 on board computer test mode. Went to mechanic and there are no error codes.

Try changing the fuel filter first. Need to make sure the filter housing is full of fuel before fitting the top securing screw, else it is a pain to start. If you're lucky this will help, if not it's likely to be the SCV's in the fuel pump.

Thanks for replying! I just changed all filters and oil and coolant. It was a MAN filter. Was reading about this scv and hoping that is not the problem..

Any mode on how I can be sure that that's the problem?

I would go into your engines specific forum section for research as it should all be there not scattered into the areas like this.

you might want to read this topic first before thinking it's the SCV's and @Dog_Book is right there is a whole section specifically made because you've got the Isuzu sourced engine in your car that has it's own quirks.

PS if it is the same as in the topic replace all the diesel leak off pipes with new ones... than top up the filter housing and bleed the air from the fuel injector pipes before starting it.

Ok. Thanks all for helping! I will try filling up the fuel filter housing and see if it will work, as said in the above topic. Sorry for posting in the wrong thread, it's my first post.
