    Default Help Required with Microsoft Access

    Good Evening..

    I'm having fun with Microsoft Access.... is anybody any good with it?

    Here's my problem..
    I have the form below..

    The top half is a subform where the "Extended Price" is calcuated by this "=Nz([UnitPrice]-([UnitPrice]*[Discount]))"

    The problem i'm having is that since i made it work out the discount.. the "Order Subtotal" no longer works... I tried "=Nz(Sum(Forms![Order Details Subform]!Price))" But it just gives an error..... anyone know how to get it to work it out? It worked when the "Extended Price" was manually entered.

    It's been driving me nuts all day.

    Blimey. I dare say I could give it a go in person, but not standalone as it were. I'd just keep trying things, you'll probably stumble across it eventually

    I've always hated Access, even more so when it comes to writing formula's.. this was supposed to be a quicky database but it's now entering it's third day of setup.. most of which i've spent trying to get this damned formula to work.

    Going by the text and column name, would that not make the sum:

    "=Nz(Sum(Forms![Order Details Subform]![Extended Price]))"

    ?

    I named it "Price" in the attributes but the label on the subform is "Extended Price" Tried both anyway and neither works.. I'm tempted to start again from scratch.. i did this one using a template and changed it but it's a pain in the backside. At least if i start from scratch i know exactly what is set to do what.
