Exactly, after starting with the new 2.0 direct injection diesel engines, years ago, Opel called them DI, ones the turbo added they were DTI-engines and when the 1.9 was introduced they added the C from Common Rail.
By the way the Opel/Vx 1.9 are build in Germany (Kaiserslautern)
and the Italiens call them JTD-engines
