    Lightbulb Number plate bulbs

Hi all, ive fitted number plate bulbs today and they flash for about 10 seconds when the car is locked then they shut off, im not to bothered about the flashing but is this gong to drain the battery or am I better off removing them?

not going to drain the battery but it will keep flashing unless you do the resistor mod.. you got the bulb check to thank for the flashing... but there are a few sources on FB that sell plug and play cables that stop the flashing at decent prices, most are sold by vauxhall vectra c owners and they are the ones that make them too so you'll get a set that has been tested to work flicker and error free. last time i saw them up for sale a set for the vectra numberplates was 20 pounds made to order and posted.

I run a set sourced on FB for the headlights parking lights... and they work as they should, been in the car for over 2 years.

It'll flash until car enters some sort of sleep(economical state), about 10-20 seconds, supposing we're talking about LED bulbs...therefore no worry about draining battery. Also flashes when car in use(engine started) and no lights(parking or headlights) on.
