    Default My Veccy B

I know this forum is for Siggy's and C's but I was hoping someone would help me out. I've changed a lot of brake pads in my time but I have never had to do my veccy b. However, the discs and pads need changing on the rear and there are 2 pins that go through the brake pads and I have no idea how to remove them.

I have looked on youtube but only veccy c's or the front brakes. I've done a general search on the internet with no luck.

So if you do know please let me know asap as I need to get her MOTd and back on the road. Thanks to the E5 being 10p more a litre than E10 and I've got a 2.2 siggy as well and she can't use that and I have only just replaced the HPFP on her, well a few months now lol

In my younger days, 45 years ago, nearly every car had the same method of securing the brake pads

I have got it sorted thanks, apart from one pin and it can wait til tomorrow now. It doesn't want to budge.....used an electrical screwdriver with a small head on it. I wished I had thought of looking using z22 but alas I didn't but I did post this on farcebook too and they explained that I have to hit the pin out. Honestly, I've fixed a lot of cars and I do not remember these ones. At 45 years ago, I would only have been 8 so, I can't see me working on them at that age somehow. I was only interested in the information of each car on the road Thanks
