My VXR estate has developed a low pitched whine when I’m driving; it gets higher pitched with speed (road speed not engine speed). Any ideas please?

3.2 v6 Signum and loving it 😁
Gearbox or wheel bearing.
Noise coming from the front or rear?
Does it increase/decrease when cornering?
It’s coming from the front. It possibly increases when cornering.

Most likely a wheel bearing if they’ve never been replaced.
Could possibly be debris stuck in the brakes. Does the noise significantly change if you brake lightly?
Another outside possibility is a damaged CV boot and the joint has run dry?
Jack up one corner take wheel off rotate disc see if it feels free or notches when turn. Also hold disc grab hold off inner/engine side off drive shaft see if any movement when rotate disc back and forth. Same on other side.
also open space go round in circles left then right does noise get louder on specific side.
