Identify wiring loom from Washer Bottle
Found a few threads and I think they're talking about this wiring loom but as there are no pictures I cannot be sure.
While washing the car today, before re-installing the bumper, I found this wiring loom beside the washer bottle. Its in the same loom as the pump wiring, but doesn't connect to anything.
The front and rear washer jets work and my level sensor works fine so its none of them.
Any idea what its for?

Identify wiring loom from Washer Bottle
Could be for headlight washers if you have Xenon headlights. Heated washer jets perhaps?

if it is a preface you'll find non used connectors all over the car.... as they used to just use one main loom for all the electrical stuff in and around the car.

The car is a pre-facelift without headlight washers or xenons, etc.
Its not the first unused wiring loom I've found but with it being part of the washer bottle/jet system I was curious if its able to be used for something, say headlight washers if they were to be installed.

it probably is for that if you want to install washers for your headlights you'll also need another washer bottle with the extra washer motor. than the ECU needs to be reprogrammed to activate it. Mine has the same loom there too and at first i was wondering just like you what it was for. but judging by the distance it can only be for powering the extra washer jet motor. It also fits to the one that is connected on the existing washer jet motor.

Try the modifying section as that’s where something like this should reside.
Vectra VXR estate 2007 Sapphire Black
Teapot Tuned 255/300
Eibachs B8's, fully loaded factory options
Tech2 & MDI diagnostics + SPS

do you mean programming ? as if you plugged it in then it is connected to uec. You’ll need to go through bcm, uec, cim programming to get it to work. Changing probably configuration to afl/hid so it knows to use wash every 4th time roughly. also go through rec they have strange places they hide things that you think have nothing to do with that unit.
