    Default Hatchback Tailgate bumper guard

    Hi all
Please could anyone tell me if there is a guard for the top of the bumper to avoid scratches when loading and unloading the boot.
I took a friend to the airport today and when he took his bag out of the boot he put a huge deep scratch on the bumper .
Ive looked on ebay and gould only find a stainless/alloy guard for the signum, are they the same as the vectra?
The only type of repair is for it to be sprayed but as its only plastic and won't rust I will hopefuuly fit mentioned item and also end this from happening again.

    Cheers all
    Andy

VX do market a 'soft' material boot cover that you flip out over the lip when you open the boot...have you looked on 'vauxhall acessories'?

Yep, got one of those for my Signum - works a treat. Also a damn site cheaper than having to pay for a smart repair after dropping a grip clamp onto the top of the bumper!

Now everytime I take anything that may potentially scratch/dink the bumper, it's second nature to just pull out the cover and drop it over.

No, the Signum one is a totally different fit for those. The Vx cloth thing is a universal fit.

The thing is the wife is in and out all the time with the baby's pushchair/shopping and more shopping etc. and i know she will not bother pulling out the cover and put it over the bumper. So i think the plate is a good idea for me as i know it's always protected.

    Thanks for the link D
