Rear pads.

I can’t seem to find rear pads that sit in flush with my discs. They sit up higher than the outside edge of the disc. Discs are 278mm with new calipers. Anyone had this before? Cheers

Probably because the carrier is for 292mm discs.

plus as I remember they where vented on my old 2.0t.

Correct cabbage boy Jon, a 2.0t uses 292 vented on the rear and you can see in the photo there is a massive gap from the disc outer to the carrier. So if the carriers are original that shows the discs should be 292 and also the calipers should be the wider versions for the vented discs.

Ah right that explains it. A previous owner has obviously put 278 discs and calipers on at one time then! Thanks for the quick response guys. Funny thing is I actually have a pair of vented discs but I thought they wouldn’t fit the carriers. Looks like I just need the wider calipers now
