    Default Front calipers/pads

Probably a stupid question and I have d a look through some of the forum trying to find the answer but I'm a bit stuck...

I've just bought some calipers/carriers to suit 302mm discs (£36 on eBay so couldn't say no lol) but I was wondering if the calipers and also the pads were the same as for the 285mm discs??

For sure pads are bigger for 302mm discs than 285mm. Consequently I suppose calipers are different, probably bigger, for improved efficiency.
