Knocking sound at rear right

I'm getting a knocking sound alot at rear right when driving only quiet when on smooth roads but feels bit bouncy and I have inside tyre wear rear right ! Took shock off it seems to have compression I can push it all way down with body weight on it then it will return back up slowly too

Whatever the cause to this issue be aware that the checks are the same for ANY vehicle, there are no special Vectra only parts that other cars don't have. So any troubleshooting would be the same, its nothing special. So just check the suspension like you do any other car.

I jack mine up, put it on axle stands and insert a pry bar at various locations to 'move' things

my intermittent knock was antiroll bar bushed, changed shocks first as rather rusty, drop links, one bottom bush driver side and purchased two banana arms but did not get to fit, replaced antiroll bar bushes using purple Powerflex ones as I used a while ago ion the front

Yes yours was, but until inspected could be anything couldn’t it? 9 different people could say their knock was each of the bushes on one side couldn’t they?

Yes but if I say what mine was then 7 others say something different you’ll just end up rebushing the whole back end like I’ve done

perhaps it would be better to take it to a garage and get it sorted then, they might know what they are doing
