Now that I'm not sure on - been a while since I fitted it.
I'm 99% certain with ISO connectors it uses the Parrot's onboard amp and powers the speakers directly, as the HU volume control is inactive when the Parrot is playing, you use the volume on the Parrot remote. There is an alternative way to wire it if you have line in but I just used the correct SOT cable.

Aaah it powers the speakers itself, that makes sense, and makes it more universal.
I might mess about with the spare one I now have at some point, I still have the loom for whatever was previously connected to the quadlock, but I'm glad it's working anyway
Edit: I assume previously it was a standalone bluetooth kit in the car, because it was only 6 pins on the connector, 2 lives, ground, and what I think are mute pins, so I think it had it's own speaker/mic.
Stupidly I didn't check the volume input level menu on my non aux in one to see if it had 'external' listed (the new one does)
