Default Does anyone still mod CD70 Navi's for Aux input?

As title, does anyone still mod these? I could do the soldering, but am unsure which parts to get if anyone can help.

I've been meaning to do this since I got the car....11 years ago haha

There is one on ebay with screen and the panels, but the condition of screen looks a lot worse than mine, if I just bought that and I have both units and both screens is it possible to unpair them both and use my old screen with the 07 CD70 ?

i think you have to un-pair the screen when its still in the car and then pair it back up again with your screen. You would need the donor head unit car pass too.

What i would do is keep an out for anybody scrapping a car or look on facebook Vec pages as CD70 AUX do come up quite a lot and dont sell for that much. I found a donor car via facebook which was near me and i got the my CD70 with aux and bluetooth for £40 as well as roof loom, rear interior light, illuminated visors and dimming rear view mirror for another £20 on top.

To be honest the Nav is rubbish and i only got it for the AUX but what i did was buy a Bluetooth dongle which plugs into the AUX and lets me stream my music instead of having a wire which is handy when im using my phone and google maps because i can tell google which play songs/ play lists to play without having wires all over the place
