It's a pdf that describes the problem amd has the solution in it... it actually downloads the file so look in your downloads.

what was your solution to fix it, to wrap this thread up?

Unfortunately i'm not 100% sure! I tried to work through the pdf in parts using my limited knowledge. Found that the purple airbag wire had a fluctuating voltage but the yellow wire had nothing. Tested the same on my daily and found the yellow wire had the same fluctuating voltage, so changed the front part of a 2nd hand cim with the original and got fluctuating voltage on the yellow wire but was still too low voltage. so stripped the console out again removed the airbag ecu, tried to again blow out/clean the terminals and the earth. After this the light went out, ran my scan tool, no dtc's
I'm going to put the original cim front back on to try and decide if that was actually at fault or not. I think it may have been a few issues rolled into one! sorry to be so vague but as i said electrics is well over my head! If the original cim front works i'll post back as such.
