Default Opel Vectra C wagon rear defroster not working

Hello again! Soo, I have a 2004 Opel Vectra C estate and the rear window defroster (defogger) ain't working. When I press the rear defogger button it lights up. I've replaced the rear defogger fuse (since it had nasty brown contacts) - nothing. The fuse itself is getting voltage when I press the button. The wires between the trunk and the roof (when I remove the little black protector piece) look great. Now about the rear window itself.. The LEFT defogger tab is getting voltage (if I unplug it and stick a test lamp in the connector, I'm getting voltage, if I hook it up, I get voltage to the tab as well.)
The RIGHT defogger tab however is a weird story, at least to me. If it's plugged in, the tab itself is getting 0 voltage, like the test lamp isn't lighting up at all. But if I UNPLUG the connector from the tab, the tab is getting voltage.. (the metal part,on the left) Soo.. any clues on what's going on?

i can see decolouration on the tab... clean it with some fine wool/sandpaper electrical cleaner than connect it up and measure for voltage again.

strip the protective foam on the connector back and check for voltage when connected... if there is non than it probably has a break somewhere and needs to be fixed...

I did clean the decolouration on the tab - still nothing. I haven't stripper the protective foam on the connector though.. Soo I don't know actually. We've called our mechanic buddies and let them know that we're going to drive over there some day so they could try and diagnose the problem.
Should I delete the post or should I just report on when the issue will be found?
