    Default power tailgate vectra c not opening

    my tailgate is not open,when i press button,lock open,move just out of lock and stay there,closing ok,is it left strut with spring problem?also,if it is potentiometer,how ti dissasembly it without breaking,i try from top gear but stop becouse look like it will broke'anybody know?

    This seems to be a common problem. Mine has stopped working three times, including once whilst under warranty. I think it is something to do with the strut as sometimes it works and others it doesn't. I have replaced the motor twice now and redone the potentimeter , but still is very hit and miss. Shame really.

    I’m surprised with your time on the forum you’ve not seen the same posts I have as I joined later, they definitely exist and I’d be looking in the technical troubleshooting section rather than in this more general chat.

    i have look and there is only problem with closing taildoor-potentiometer,my is ok now,but nothing i didn't find about struts or opening of door
    and i think this is strut problem,left one with spring

    also i work on ship,so i don't have net lot of time and when i am home,i am busy,today i look all afternoon for this post and nothing,but i find that it is definitely right strut,it is suppose to be 1000n,no pressure at all and i found it only on one place for 106 euros and delivery is 8 weeks,so if you can help,help with this
